The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation actively promotes the implementation of Russian export projects for the introduction of renewable energy sources (RES).
Together with the Russian Ministry of Energy, the agency supports the launch of renewable energy facilities, including solar generation projects in various countries such as Kyrgyzstan, Cuba, Kazakhstan, Myanmar, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. As noted in the ministry’s message, assistance is provided not only in the implementation of infrastructure projects, but also in scaling up the production of necessary equipment.
According to experts, the current interest in renewable energy sources in developing countries and former Soviet republics is due to an increase in population, industrial development and the need to reduce the use of fossil fuels. These factors open up broad prospects for Russian companies in the field of renewable energy projects.
