The direction of “enhanced oil recovery and stimulation” is created in the first place, to operate assets at a late stage of development. The main objective is localization of residual reserves of hydrocarbons and the search of effective technologies of their production.
Methods of localization of residual oil reserves, the development of which is conducted in the DrilLife Group Scientific and Research Center, help to more accurately determine the structure of the reservoir and its current state. In many cases it relates to production of tight oil, because residual stocks are usually characterized by complex geological structure of reservoirs or specific oil properties. Thereof, new secondary and tertiary methods of enhanced oil recovery are being tested: new technologies of hydraulic fracturing and waterflooding.
DrilLife Group has extensive experience in the application of different flooding techniques, but it keeps improving its efficiency for production enhancement. To increase oil recovery rate such technologies as gas injection and acid treatment of reservoirs are being proved.
