The Coordination Council on Import Substitution of Oil and Gas Equipment was held in Moscow under the leadership of First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov and Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak. The event was attended by the heads of key companies in the industry, representatives of federal and regional authorities.
Denis Manturov noted that production in the oil and gas engineering industry has increased by 27% since the beginning of the year, and in the near future about 60 industry R&D will enter mass production. Alexander Novak stressed the importance of ensuring technological sovereignty and the creation of new national projects in the energy sector.
Following the meeting, agreements were signed on the development of equipment for drilling, production and energy storage systems.
