Russia and Iran have started developing 10 gas and oil fields

Iran and Russia have signed as many as 10 agreements and memoranda of understanding on cooperation in the oil industry.

The documents were signed after a meeting between Iranian Oil Minister Javad Oudji and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.

Six fields are being considered by oil companies, and two more by gas companies. The parties discussed technical issues. Currently, experts are evaluating commercial conditions and working on them with Iranian partners.
