The growth of primary oil refining in Russia since the beginning of the year is 4.6 percent.

The situation with oil refining in Russia is calm, the growth of primary processing since the beginning of the year is about 4.6%, Russian Energy Minister Nikolai Shulginov told reporters.

He added that the government’s instructions to stimulate the output of light oil products in the country, modernize refineries, as well as increase the production of motor fuels are being implemented as planned. As part of this work, investment agreements have been concluded with many companies.

As Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak reported in February, oil refining by the end of 2022 amounted to almost 272 million tons, which is 3% lower than the previous year.
