By 2028, it is planned to attract about 1 trillion rubles of investments in the modernization of oil refining plants in Russia. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak during the government hour in the Federation Council.
“Since 2021, the mechanism of investment agreements has been applied. 21 such agreements have already been concluded between the Ministry of Energy and oil refining companies,” he said.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, by attracting investments, it is planned to put into operation and modernize fifty technological installations to produce fuel. This will increase gasoline production by 4 million tons per year, and diesel production by 30 million tons per year.
