The panel is being developed by engineers in cooperation with energy-mechanical department.
The improvement was started last year. DrilLife employees planned to complete the improvement within a shorter time frame, but at a certain stage there was a necessity to work on some additional engineering and purchase required equipment.
The plant specialists focused their attention on the electrical control panel for a good reason. For a long time the plant used similar product of foreign manufacturing. During operation some significant defects were revealed that had negative impact upon its functionality. The imported control panel is larger in size. Furthermore the equipment command piping frequently freezed which resulted in failure of preventor operations. Moreover, the imported equipment had a large size cable of 40 mm with rather fragile coating that was quickly destroyed during use.
The DrilLife design solution is as follows: transferred data – the electrical signal – is converted into air signal by the station, and the command is performed. Command pipes in the new panel will be replaced by 2-3 wire and a thin cable. The equipment will be more reliable and comfortable, easy in handle. These properties are valued by companies that frequently have to perform assembling and dismantling: the new panel will save time and ease the process.
In the shortest time the DrilLife specialists will assemble the test equipment sample and perform factory testing.
