The designers started development of manometer valve in summer.

Some parts required modification during design process. It was also necessary to purchase additional equipment.

Design engineers of plant pursued to develop a competitive instrument stop valve. DrilLife specialists plan to develop a valve with better reliability, cost effectiveness and easiness in operation. The company manufactures the KM analogue – manometer valve – with high material and labour input.

Specialists offer a design solution that represents a manometer valve with a cylindrical plug rotating along its axis to be used as a gate element. The valve has a special device allowing pressure release on the instrument side in closed position. The valve comprises six main parts – body, plug, pressure-release assembly, handle, packing rings and fixing elements. The valve is designed for 35 MPa pressure and may be used at 60 to +45°C temperature range.

This valve is used as part of wellhead equipment. Apart from wellhead equipment of oil and gas well, the valve may be used in process piping intended for production, piping and processing of oil products. The valve shall be installed upstream of pressure gauges and phase separators to ensure their safe replacement.
