Permian scientists have developed a method to increase oil production

PNRPU scientists experts presented an innovative technology of cyclic flooding, which allows to increase the flow rate of oil in complex reservoir formations.

The method based on pressure changes in wells is effective for extracting oil from low-permeability and hard-to-reach areas.

Forecasts show that the use of this technology will increase production by 439 thousand m3 of oil and provide an economic effect of almost 3 million rubles in the first year. The technology makes it possible to significantly improve the economic efficiency of field development with minimal costs.
