Russia and the Republic of Congo have signed an agreement on the construction of an oil pipeline

The Russian Federation and the Republic of the Congo have signed an agreement on the construction of the Pointe-Noir–Lutete –Maluco-Tresho oil pipeline. The signing took place in Moscow following the results of the 7th meeting of the Intergovernmental Russian-Congolese Commission on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.

Denis-Christel Sassou Nguesso, Minister of International Cooperation of the Republic of the Congo, noted that the implementation of the project will begin in the near future. The joint venture will be established between the Russian company Zakneftegazstroy-Prometheus LLC and the National Oil Company of the Congo, which is the customer of the project.
