The Ministry of Industry and Trade announces that the share of domestic equipment in the oil and gas industry will reach 70% in 2024.
According to the Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, the share of Russian equipment in the oil and gas industry last year amounted to 65%, and by the end of this year the figure will reach 70%.
“Since 2015, 60 billion rubles have been allocated from the state budget for the development of Russian technologies and the creation of domestic equipment. This allowed the machine—building complex to offer import substitution solutions for more than 160 positions,” Manturov noted.
Currently, within the framework of import substitution in the oil and gas industry six directions have been created. Corresponding agreements with key customers have been signed, demand has been identified and road maps developed. The volume of orders up to 2027 exceeds one trillion rubles.
