China Energy Investment Corporation plans to build the largest wind farm with a capacity of more than 1,000 MW in the Amur region. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Regional Development A. Chekunkov
“The projects in the Far East, which were presented to us during working meetings, are well worked out and have every chance to take place,” commented Alexey Chekunkov.
Also at the meeting, the Chinese partners outlined 3 principles that are true for the Russian-Chinese project:
- scientific approach – carefully calculate everything;
- mutual benefit, symmetry of interests of Russia and China;
- full transparency.
In addition, the head of the Ministry of Regional Development noted that he asked colleagues to register their contractor in the region so that taxes would go to the budget of the Amur region.
The Russian side, in turn, is ready to expand the territory ahead of development for the project (TOP)Amur.
